Project Management For International Trade Shows, Conferences, and Meeting Planning

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of trade shows, revenue generating events, and conferences in Asia, Europe, and Latin America from conceptual phase to completion 
  • Create and implement marketing strategies for trade shows, corporate events, conferences, meetings, educational programs, and trade missions
  • Overall event responsibility includes: organizational leadership, budget preparation, on-site coordination, and management of cross-functional teams
  • Create integrated planning timelines to coordinate pre-event logistics, exhibit design and set-up, transportation, security, and allocation of services
  • Extensive experience with business and partnership development to gain involvement and ensure high quality service
  • Leverage sponsorship opportunities to increase company profile or generate revenue (as applicable)
  • Launching of creative strategies to increase, facilitate, and track booth attendee traffic; lead retrieval and event metrics analysis
  • Implement project management practices that ensure direction, motivation, resources and effective communication to maximize event planning and execution  

Marketing and Communications

  • Design and production of marketing collaterals, and promotional materials
  • Development or registration, attendee, exhibitor, and event survey pieces
  • Event web design and maintenance
  • Advertising campaigns: theme development, artwork selection, and copy writing and editing
  • Media relations and press releases
  • Effective communication with people at any level of business and management

Budgeting and Resource Management

  • Budget preparation, monitoring, and post-event account reconciliation.
  • Return on investment analysis
  • Completion of programs on or under budget while exceeding client expectation
  • Manage event process by negotiating contract agreements and overseeing operational issues to maintain or lower project costs
  • Coordination of cross-functional team to ensure project completion within budget
  • Negotiate contrats with vendors worldwide
  • Prepare budget proposals and presentation for upper management approval
  • Account reconciliation and thorough documentation during pre and post event processes
